Students were explained the concept of Venn diagram through an activity. Odd and even numbers were written in the venn diagram made on the floor. Students were given the number cards. They sorted it according to odd and even number and placed themselves in the respective venn diagram.
Quiz on 2D and 3D shapes was held in the class. It was a fun game as well as assessing the students on the unit-3 shapes.
As a part of statistical methods , the concept of pictogram was given through an activity in which students placed counters above their favourite colour. Questions were asked related to the data collected like which is the most liked colour? Which colour is not liked by students at all.
Children were taken to the ground where they gathered and sat in the groups. They were given different 3D shapes and they discussed about it’s properties. They saw it’s faces, edges and vertices. Children also searched for prisms and pyramids in the ground.
