Thick and Thin (Clay dough activity)

 Incorporating thick and thin clay activities into the kindergarten curriculum supports a wide range of developmental goals and provides a fun, hands-on learning experience for young children. Children were given clay pressed onto thicker clay bases. Clay activities, specifically those involving the concepts of thick and thin, can help children develop fine motor skills, understand basic concepts of measurement and proportion, and foster creativity.

LONG AND SHORT

Few objects long and short were kept and children were supposed to tell which are long and which are short objects. By engaging in hands on activities like this, children can develop a better understanding of the concepts of long and short while having fun at the same time.
